Job summary

D-Wave Quantum Inc. is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect based in Ireland to build and deliver quantum optimization solutions for customer applications.

You will collaborate with delivery leads, applications developers, and other solutions architects within the professional services department to map business problems to D-Wave’s hybrid solvers and test prototypes for production use. You will review customer needs, formulate solutions, run proofs-of-concept, and develop production-ready

Qualifications

• Masters, PhD or equivalent in Operations Research, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years experience with Python.
• Experience with external customers to identify requirements and solutions.
• Experience with optimisation tools including Gurobi/CPLEX, genetic algorithms, simulated annealing.

Responsibilities

• Build customer applications on the D-Wave quantum computer and internal tools.
• Ensure successful delivery of projects to achieve business value for customers.
• Communicate capabilities with customers and understand problems to propose solutions.
• Gather requirements, lead brainstorming, model use cases, design quantum hybrid applications.
• Build and maintain relationships with leaders across groups within D-Wave.
• Share insights with tools and product teams and help prioritise features.
• Prepare and present technical information clearly.
• Contribute to an inclusive, helpful environment.
