Job summary

Adaptive Hvm Limited is seeking a DC Hardware Technician - Failure Analysis on a 6-month contract with a potential extension or permanent opportunity. Salary around 38k per year.

The role involves testing, repair, sanitization, and disassembly of Data Center IT servers and networking gear, plus warehouse inventory duties and parts disposition. Qualifications

• Disassembly and reassembly of server/network components to correct spec.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing, repair, sanitization and disassembly of Data Center IT servers and networking equipment.
• Maintain inventory accuracy; ship/receive parts; perform audits and disposition per WM systems.
• Unload, pick and pack parts for shipment domestically and internationally; support 5S and safety.
• Deliver on service level agreements for testing and processing of components.
• Collaborate with Data Center teams to plan, test and deliver priority parts.
• Participate in team meetings for metrics and daily/weekly goals.

Job description

We are currently looking for a DC Hardware Technician - Failure Analysis for one of our client in a 6 months contract with possibility of extension or become permanent. Salary 38k

Responsabilities:

• Conduct a range of Testing, Repair, Sanitization and Disassembly across a variety of Data Center IT Server and Networking Equipment & Components.
• Warehouse Management System - Shipping & Receiving parts, maintain inventory accuracy, carry out audits, and disposition parts as prescribed by Inventory/Warehouse Management System.
• Unload, Pick & Pack orders/parts for shipment across local and international sites.
• Manual Handling - Frequent lifting of materials and products.
• Inventory Management – maintain precise records of all commodities – inbound and outbound.5S
• Maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and Safety of all workspaces.
• The Technician is the primary point of contact for internal customers and who’s key responsibilities include Failure Analysis & Disposition activities: The role requires technicians to adhere to all Safety and Security practices within the FA Lab.
• Conduct a range of Testing, Repair, Sanitization and Disassembly across a variety of Data Center IT Server and Networking Equipment & Components.
• Basic networking equipment removal/installation and processing.
• Shipping & Receiving parts, maintain inventory accuracy, conduct audits, and disposition parts as prescribed by Inventory/Warehouse Management System.
• Unload, Pick & Pack orders/parts for shipment across local, EU and non-EU sites.
• Inventory Management – maintain precise records of all commodities – inbound and outbound.
• Delivering on the required service level agreements for testing and processing of components.
• Partner with other teams within the Data Center environment to plan, test, and deliver on priority parts.
• Participate in team meetings for metric analysis and daily/weekly goals achievement.
• Perform tasks with no deviation from the process and demonstrate continuously consistent results.
• Share knowledge and help educate other team members on the best practices including training demonstrating Earn Trust and Ownership.
• Reporting of progress and regular status updates to the management team.
