Job summary

Headcount Solutions Ltd in Ireland is seeking a dedicated Facilities Technician to maintain building services across the site, ensuring safety and high standards. You will work within a general facilities team delivering planned and reactive maintenance and supporting minor works.

The role requires trades qualification, experience in plumbing/joinery, and awareness of health and safety, confined spaces, and working at height.

Qualifications

• Trades qualification preferred.
• Experience with routine maintenance in building environments.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and working at height.
• Experience with legionella & asbestos awareness preferred.
• Experience in regulated buildings maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Undertake routine planned and reactive maintenance as instructed, supporting minor works and supervising maintenance assistants.
• Complete routine repairs or minor works.
• Support projects and deliver minor capital works.
• Complete suitable risk assessments and follow permit-to-work procedures.

Facilities Technician This position is to deliver building services maintenance and repairs across the site to ensure buildings are maintained to the highest standards and environments are safe and secure. You will be working as part of a general facilities team.

Key roles and responsibilities

• You will undertake routine planned and reactive maintenance service as instructed, ensuring that operational standards are always maintained, also supporting minor works and supervising maintenance assistants
• You will complete routine repairs or minor works
• You will also support projects and deliver minor capital works
• You will complete suitable risk assessments and follow relevant permit or work plans
• You will always deliver excellent customer service, and this may include emergency call outs.

Experience

• Ideally trades qualified
• You will have experience of completing maintainance tasks, ie plumbing, joinery, ideally in a building maintenance environment
• You will have a working knowledge of repairs and maintenance, Health & Safety, environment standards, manual handling, working at height, confined spaces, and ideally legionella & asbestos awareness
• You will have experience working in a buildings maintenance role, ideally in a regulated environment.
