Job summary

Key responsibilities include preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, troubleshooting distribution, generators, UPS and HVAC, with on-call rota participation.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with time-served apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Experience in facilities, building services, or maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, generators, UPS and HVAC systems.
• Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) is desirable.
• Proactive, reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and building services.
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical distribution systems, generators, UPS, HVAC and associated plant.
• Respond to breakdowns and participate in an on-call rota.
• Coordinate contractors and work closely with other maintenance trades.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS/BMS systems.
• Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety and regulatory requirements.
