Job summary

Proofpoint, a global leader in cybersecurity, is seeking a Facilities Manager, EMEA to lead facilities operations across multiple locations. You will manage office managers, vendors, budgets, and safety programs, coordinating with regional teams and leadership.

The role requires strong project and vendor management, excellent communication, and a proactive, flexible approach to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient workplaces throughout the EMEA region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Extensive facilities management and office services leadership experience across multiple EMEA locations.
• Experience supervising staff and managing service vendors/contractors.
• Construction project management experience with working knowledge of MEP systems.
• EH&S experience is a plus.
• Strong customer service orientation, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible, creative, and responsive team player who can also lead.

Responsibilities

• Manage regional office managers, employees, and contractors who keep EMEA field offices running smoothly
• Oversee daily facility operations: reception, visitor/guest access, mail and shipping, and ad-hoc administrative services
• Serve as the primary contact for EMEA emergency communications, including after-hours availability for facilities emergencies
• Manage facilities-related procurement of supplies and services at each location
• Own the refinement and management of facilities and office budgets across the region
• Develop and maintain repair and preventive maintenance programs in partnership with peers in other regions
• Partner with the Safety and Security Programs Manager on Health & Safety programs, emergency response planning, and emergency action plans, ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines
• Support office events in coordination with the HR Events team

The Role

As Facilities Manager, EMEA, you'll lead facilities operations across Proofpoint's fast-growing EMEA region — managing field offices, office managers, and building-related services. This role calls for strong project management skills, experience leading remote teams and vendors, and the communication skills to work effectively with employees, business leaders, executives, landlords, and local authorities.

Team & Operations Leadership

• Manage regional office managers, employees, and contractors who keep EMEA field offices running smoothly

• Construction project management experience, with working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) experience is a plus
• Strong customer service orientation, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and solid office software proficiency
• A flexible, creative, and responsive team player who can also lead
