Job summary

Vantive is seeking a Facilities Engineer to support two manufacturing sites, Castlebar and Swinford, Ireland. You will lead and deliver projects covering facilities, utilities, and infrastructure, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and EHS teams, manage budgets and timelines, and drive continuous improvements. A degree in engineering and hands-on facilities experience are required, with a proactive ownership

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience within facilities, project engineering, utilities, or manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of facility systems such as HVAC, electrical, water, energy, or building services.
• Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive mindset with the confidence to take ownership and deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support facilities, utilities, and infrastructure projects across our Castlebar and Swinford sites.
• Drive improvements that enhance reliability, efficiency, sustainability, and operational performance.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, EHS, and external contractors to deliver successful outcomes.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communications.
• Support facility upgrades, expansions, maintenance programmes, and critical systems improvements.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory, and safety requirements.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and help shape future site capabilities.
