Mid West Cavan Community Employment Scheme CLG is offering a developmental opportunity with accredited training to support your career development in Ireland. The role focuses on maintaining the Men's Shed facilities and surrounding grounds, while ensuring safety and proper facility use.

No prior experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided. You will also coordinate with service providers for repairs and upgrades, and manage cleaning, heating, lighting, and waste procedures

Responsibilities

• Ensure the building and grounds are clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times around Men's Shed, mowing and caretaking of the grounds, weeding of planters.
• Ensure cleaning products are stocked.
• Manage heating, lighting, and security systems, ensuring they are in proper working order.
• Liaise with service providers for repairs, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Room setup, chairs, tables etc.
• Provide guidance to centre users on proper facility use, ensuring compliance with safety rules.
• Ensure restrooms are clean, fully stocked with supplies, and in good working order.
• Manage bin collections and recycling procedures.
