Job summary

Moog Ireland Limited is seeking a Maintenance Caretaking professional to manage the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the facility in Carrigaline, Ireland. This hands-on role blends basic carpentry, plumbing and electrical tasks with daily operational duties to maintain a safe, functional and welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

The ideal candidate will have a Leaving Certificate, experience in maintenance or related work, and a clean Irish driving licence.

Qualifications

Leaving Certificate or equivalent required; experience in a maintenance role is an advantage.
Full, clean Irish driving licence required as the role may involve collecting supplies.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine maintenance tasks across areas including building fabric, plumbing, electrical (non-licensed) and grounds maintenance.
Maintain external pathways, courtyards, and parking areas; perform winter gritting and snow clearance as needed.
Coordinate waste disposal and liaise with contractors; assist in gathering quotes and supervising site works.
Log maintenance tickets electronically and maintain accurate records of activities and materials used.
Adhere to all EHS policies; ensure PPE usage and safe working practices.
Undertake other duties as reasonably requested by FEHS Manager Facilities Lead or Senior Maintenance Technician.
