The role involves field engagement, lead development, and reporting on buying trends and opportunities. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in external sales within construction, strong negotiation skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced growth environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in external sales, preferably in construction.
• Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to identify leads and grow new business.
• Experience with CRM systems and data maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Build new sales opportunities with main contractors and architects via quotations, calls and emails.
• Prospect new business through background research and lead information.
• Identify buying trends and report to management.
• Enter, update, and maintain CRM information on leads and opportunities.
• Grow business by engaging with stakeholders in the construction industry.
• Build a network of industry partners to support growth and retention.
• Meet sales KPIs and targets.
• Collaborate with sales, operations and logistics teams.
• Participate in sales meetings to communicate pipeline and progress.
