Job summary

SEABRIDGE Cork branch is seeking an Export Freight Co-ordinator reporting to the Operations Manager. You will handle data entry, bookings, and export entries, and liaison with customers about bookings.

Develop relationships with key customers, understand their shipping needs, coordinate export groupage and full-load movements, and provide information to transport companies to ensure timely collections and deliveries. Maintain duties and company standards.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in freight industry preferred.
• Knowledge of exports and customs procedures.
• Computer literate.
• Proactive attitude to plan ahead and meet deadlines.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

The Role:

• Data entry, booking collection and preparing them for export entry.

• Provide transport companies with the relevant information to ensure customer collection / delivery requirements are met.

• Promote and maintain image, procedures and standards as set and with management.

Requirements:

• Ideally 2 years’ experience in the Freight industry, but not essential.
• Knowledge and understanding of exports and customs procedures.
• Computer literate.
• Proactive attitude to be able to plan ahead and work towards meeting deadlines.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
