Job summary

Manguard Plus is seeking an experienced Security Officer to join our on-site team in Kildare, Ireland. The role requires availability on both weekdays and weekends, with day and night shifts totaling 36–48 hours per week. Salary is negotiable and shifts include weekend premiums. You will provide professional security service, monitor for emergencies, and liaise with Gardaí when needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid PSA licence.
• Excellent spoken and written English required.
• Ability to work under own initiative.
• Must be available for weekdays and weekends (36–48 hours per week).
• GNIB/IRP card if non-EEA national.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional service and ensure total client satisfaction.
• Deal with emergencies and liaise with Gardaí as necessary.
• Report all incidents, accidents and emergencies.
• Conduct regular health & safety checks of all areas.
• Maintain open communication between the client and management.
• Be familiar with all emergency and evacuation procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to onsite procedures.

Shift Pattern: Various, must be availabe weekdays AND weekends (36-48 hours per week)

Shifts: Day and Night Shifts Available

Duties: Experienced Security Officer duties

Salary: €15.41 per hour, €20.00 per night shift worked and €1.00 per hour additional payment on Sundays.

Responsibilities

• To provide a professional service and ensure total client satisfaction.
• Dealing with emergencies and liaising with Gardaí if necessary.
• Report all incidents, accidents and emergencies.
• Regular Health & Safety Checks of all areas.
• To provide an open and consistent communication interface between the Client and Management.
• To be fully aware of all emergency and evacuation procedures.
• Other reasonable duties that may be assigned from time to time.
• Fully adhere to onsite procedures and policies.
• Using identification and access systems.
• Have a valid PSA license.
• Over 5 years' experience working as a Static Security Officer. 2 of those years in the Irish Security Sector.
• Valid GNIB/IRP card if non-EEA National.
• Must have excellent spoken and written English.
• Ability to work under own initiative essential.
• Ability to handle typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively.
