Job summary

CARRONS HAULAGE LIMITED in Ireland is hiring an HGV Mechanic to join our workshop across multiple locations in Kilcolman and Ardagh, Co. Limerick.

A minimum of 3 years’ experience is required and a relevant trade certificate is necessary. You will diagnose, inspect and maintain engines, gearboxes, clutches and electrical systems, reporting to the Garage Manager. Good written and spoken English is required; sector: transportation and storage; Experienced non-managerial role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as HGV mechanic.
• Relevant trade cert required.
• Proficient in diagnostics, inspection and maintenance of engines, gearboxes and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Will report to the Garage Manager.
• Diagnose and repair engines, gearboxes, clutches and mechanical components.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults such as lighting, starters and alternators.
