Job summary

Comer Group Ireland in Tallaght is seeking a part-time Cleaner to join our team in residential cleaning tasks. This role offers variety and requires diligence, attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

The successful candidate will maintain public areas across commercial and residential properties, adhere to health and safety procedures and respond to management requests in a timely manner. Previous cleaners welcome; training provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cleaner (training provided).
• Full driver's licence with own transport.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask.
• Works well on own initiative.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Be physically fit; use of buffing machine/carpet washer may be required.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training provided).
• Confident with technology.

Responsibilities

• Action requests from Management/Property Teams promptly.
• Maintain all public areas in commercial and residential properties.
• Empty and wipe down waste bins.
• Clean glass and window areas.
• Wipe and dust surfaces.
• Dust/clean/straighten furniture and fixtures.
• Dust/clean doors, sills and ledges.
• Clean lifts and lift areas.
• Vacuum carpets and mop floors.
• Sweep tiles or wood floors.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
• Report maintenance/complaints to Maintenance Manager.
• Keep tools and equipment maintained.
• Maintain storerooms and chemical room.
• Perform other reasonable tasks as directed by management.
• Maintain clear communications with departments.

Comer Group Ireland are currently seeking a part-time Cleaner to join the team. This role offers great variety for the right candidate, with duties and responsibilities in residential cleaning. This role will be based in Belgard Square, Tallaght, Dublin 24. The ideal candidate for this role will be diligent, take pride in their work and maintain a high level of attention to detail. The candidate should have the ability to work as part of a team and individually on their own initiative.

Salary

Negotiable (Part-time, 20 hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Actioning of requests from Management and Property Teams in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintaining all public areas in Commercial and Residential Properties
• Empty and wipe down waste bins
• Clean glass and window areas
• Wipe and dust surface
• Dust/Clean/straighten furniture and table fixtures
• Dust and clean doors and window/door sills and ledges
• Clean lifts and lift areas
• Vacuum carpets and mop floors
• Sweep tiles or hardwood floor areas
• Adhere to lost property procedures
• Ensure all Health and Safety procedures are adhered to within the Department
• Reporting any maintenance issues to the Maintenance Manager
• Report any complaints to the Maintenance Manager
• Maintain all tools and equipment
• Maintain storerooms and chemical room and ensure these are kept neat and tidy
• Perform any other reasonable task or instruction as directed by management or a representative of management
• Maintain clear and concise communications with all departments and management regarding issues at assigned properties
• Assist other departments on busy days and complete any other duties as requested by the department Manager to meet business demands
• Prioritising tasks and duties as required

Experience Required

• Previous experience as a cleaner (however training can be provided for the right person)
• Full Drivers licence with own transport
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to multitask
