Job summary

Kavanaghs SuperValu Barna and Moycullen are seeking an experienced baker to ensure the Bakery Department operates efficiently and delivers high-quality products with excellent customer service. The role requires bakery experience, HACCP knowledge, and a qualification in bakery or progress towards one.

The position is full-time and permanent, with opportunities to contribute to in-store initiatives. A reliable commute or relocation to the store area is needed, and availability for 5 days per week

Qualifications

• Previous food preparation and production experience is desirable.
• Qualified baker is a distinct advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and engage with customers.

Responsibilities

• Bake and finish products to a high standard.
• Merchandise and present the Bakery department.
• Adhere to stocktaking and waste procedures.
• Follow production planning and batch control guidelines.
• Conduct quality and freshness checks.
• Attend required training and apply learnings in-store.
