Job summary

Kinnitty Castle Hotel is seeking an experienced Accommodation Assistant to join our housekeeping team. This part-time role focuses on preparing and servicing guest bedrooms to our high standards and supporting the wider team.

Flexible schedule of 3–5 days per week, with shifts arranged by the hotel; pay from €14.15 per hour; located in Kinnitty, County Offaly, Ireland. Experience in hotel housekeeping preferred; English required.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or accommodation experience (hotel experience is an advantage).
• Eye for detail and pride in your work.
• Positive, hardworking attitude and reliable.
• Ability to work independently and show initiative.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to work weekends and public holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and servicing guest bedrooms to a high hotel standard
• Making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming and replenishing guest amenities
• Keeping corridors, public areas and housekeeping areas clean and presentable
• Ensuring rooms are presented beautifully and ready for our guests
• Reporting maintenance issues, lost property and any concerns to your supervisor
• Keeping cleaning equipment and supplies clean, organised and well stocked
• Following all hotel health, safety and hygiene procedures
• Working closely with the Accommodation and Front Office teams
• Supporting the wider housekeeping team during busy periods and events

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Accommodation Assistant to join our team.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a great eye for detail and understands that the little things make a big difference to a guest's stay.

This is a flexible position offering approximately 3–5 days per week, with shifts arranged according to hotel requirements and your availability.

What You'll Be Doing

• Preparing and servicing guest bedrooms to a high hotel standard
