Job summary

An exciting opportunity to join a leading international financial services organisation in a senior, transaction-focused actuarial role, combining technical expertise, commercial judgement and leadership. Reporting to the Head of Risk Solutions, The Executive Manager will lead the origination, pricing and execution of new transactions covering asset and longevity risk across EMEA.

Qualifications

• Qualified actuary with 10+ years' relevant experience.
• Strong technical expertise across longevity, reinsurance pricing, experience analysis, ALM, capital modelling or IFRS 17.
• Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem-solving capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead pricing and execution of complex reinsurance transactions, from data and experience analysis through to modelling, capital and risk assessment.
• Originate and develop new business opportunities and present recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Lead treaty negotiations alongside legal teams and support implementation.
• Coach and develop a team of actuarial professionals.

Reporting to the Head of Risk Solutions, The Executive Manager will lead the origination, pricing and execution of new transactions covering asset and longevity risk across EMEA. In the Executive Manager role you will:

• Lead pricing and execution of complex reinsurance transactions, from data and experience analysis through to modelling, capital and risk assessment.

About you:

• Qualified actuary with 10+ years' relevant experience.

• Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience across international reinsurance and investment markets.
• Comfortable leading people and managing multiple complex workstreams.
