Job summary

Sodexo in Dublin (Ireland) seeks an Executive Head Chef to lead the culinary vision across the Microsoft Ireland estate. The role demands senior leadership, developing a premium food offer and driving standards in quality, innovation, presentation and service.

You will oversee multiple kitchens, lead development of menus and concepts, and mentor Head Chefs while ensuring health, sustainability and commercial performance across the operation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years progressive culinary experience with leadership roles.
• Experience in premium contract catering or multi-outlet environments.
• Strong food safety, HACCP and audit experience.
• Commercial understanding of food cost, labour, stock and waste.
• Experience leading and developing large chef teams.

Executive Head Chef

Location: Dublin, Ireland – Multi-Site Location
Salary: €65,000 - €75,000 plus Sodexo benefits
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

Sodexo is looking for an experienced and passionate Executive Head Chef to lead the culinary vision and food offer across the Microsoft Ireland estate.

This is a high-profile senior culinary leadership role, responsible for setting and continuously raising standards across food quality, innovation, presentation and service. You’ll work closely with the Account Manager, Executive Chef EMEA, Dining Manager and wider culinary teams to deliver an exceptional food experience for clients and consumers.

You’ll be a visible culinary leader, developing talented teams, driving innovation and ensuring the food offer consistently delivers on quality, sustainability, wellness and commercial performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and deliver the Ireland culinary strategy in line with Sodexo and client priorities.
• Set and maintain high standards across food quality, presentation, hospitality and service.
• Lead menu development, culinary concepts, promotions, events and new food experiences.
• Provide visible leadership across multiple kitchens and service areas.
• Lead, coach and develop Head Chefs and wider culinary teams.
• Support recruitment, succession planning, retention and talent development.
• Champion food safety, HACCP, allergen management and hygiene standards.
• Manage food costs, labour productivity, stock, waste and overall culinary performance.
• Use data to identify opportunities for operational and financial improvement.
• Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and consumers.
• Lead premium hospitality and high-profile events.
• Embed health, wellness and sustainability into the food offer.
• Drive continuous improvement and bring new ideas and food trends to the operation.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a professionally qualified Chef who can combine culinary creativity with strong commercial and operational leadership.

You’ll ideally have:

• 5+ years’ progressive culinary experience, including 1–2 years at Head Chef or Executive Chef level.
• Experience within premium contract catering, a 5-star hotel, restaurant, events or a comparable multi-outlet environment.
• Proven experience leading and developing large chef teams.
• Strong food safety, HACCP and audit experience.
• Commercial understanding of food cost, labour, gross profit, stock and waste.
• Experience managing senior client and stakeholder relationships.
• Strong planning, organisation, analytical and IT skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
• A passion for food, hospitality and delivering an outstanding customer experience.
• A proactive, resilient and solutions-focused approach.
• Flexibility to work across the Ireland estate and support key hospitality events when required.
