Job summary

HJL is expanding its BCAR and Technical Advisor Services team and seeks an Executive Assigned Certifier to shape safer buildings across Ireland. You will engage with developers, investors and public bodies, leading BCAR duties and providing trusted advisory services from inception to completion.

Join a collaborative team handling DAC applications, Part M guidance and PSDP deliverables, while managing multiple projects with clear client-facing communication and organisational strengths.

Qualifications

• Architectural Technologist with 8+ years’ experience.
• Registration with RIAI, ACEI, Engineers Ireland or SCSI is an advantage.
• Irish building/construction experience and knowledge of BCAR2014 are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support BCAR duties across residential, commercial and mixed-use projects.
• Provide Technical Advisor services including due diligence, project monitoring, construction advice and certification.
• Prepare and manage DAC applications and advise design teams on Part M compliance.
• Deliver PSDP services, including Safety & Health Plans and Safety Files.
• Contribute to a collaborative, technically strong team focused on excellence.
