Job summary

Recruit Engineers is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator for a long-term drainage project in Cork, Ireland. The role involves operating excavators on a busy site, digging trenches for pipe laying and drainage installations, and supporting groundworkers.

You must have an excavator ticket, Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification, plus ability to work as part of a team and adhere to site safety procedures.

Location: Cork, Ireland
Pay: €23.03 per hour + Overtime
Job Type: Full-Time
Duration: Long-Term Project (Minimum 10 Months)

We are currently looking for an experienced Excavator Operator for a long-term construction project in Cork.

The successful candidate will be working as part of a drainage crew, carrying out excavation works for surface water drainage installations and gully connections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating excavators safely and efficiently.
• Carrying out excavation works for drainage installations.
• Digging trenches for pipe laying and drainage systems.
• Assisting groundworkers and pipe layers on site.
• Working around underground services.
• Carrying out daily machine checks.
• Following site health and safety procedures.

Requirements:
