Cork Chamber is seeking an Events & Marketing Executive to join the Member Services team, supporting the Events Manager in delivering a busy events calendar and driving promotional activity across channels.

You will handle event logistics, vendor relationships, speaker research, content creation and GDPR-compliant communications, contributing to measurable outcomes for members and sponsors.

Competenze

• Two years’ experience in an events, marketing or communications role.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence dealing with senior leaders, speakers and sponsors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), Canva, Clipchamp and experience with social media platforms.
• Experience updating websites (WordPress) and working with a CRM or events booking system.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work occasional early morning and evening events.
• Full clean driving licence and access to own car.

Mansioni

• Assist the Events Manager with all aspects of event planning and delivery for in-person and online events.
• Source, negotiate and liaise with event suppliers and venues, ensuring value for money and budgets.
• Manage event logistics including set-up, registration and materials.
• Coordinate bookings, guest lists, RSVP tracking and invitations.
• Research speakers and maintain a pipeline of relevant speakers for events.
• Operate and troubleshoot technology for online events.
• Ensure events are accessible, inclusive and sustainable.
• Support risk assessments and health and safety with venues.
