Job summary

Meissner seeks an experienced Production Supervisor for the evening shift to coordinate cleanroom based production at our Castlebar facility. You will guide staff, execute the production plan and ensure Health & Safety, Quality and GMP standards are met.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will drive staff development, coordinate with Planning to manage priorities, and lead continuous improvement projects across Manufacturing, Quality and Maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a supervisory role leading a production team in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, coaching and training abilities.
• Ability to schedule work orders and manage production plans.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills.
• Proficient with computer systems and able to learn production software quickly.
• Ability to read documents and interpret drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Act as the person in charge during the evening shift, overseeing production operations and facility management with authority to make decisions.
• Coordinate, train, coach and evaluate production operatives and team leaders to achieve objectives and improve performance.
• Execute the production plan by scheduling work orders, setting priorities and monitoring progress.
• Develop the production team to support growth, including training needs analysis and maintaining training records.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Quality, Line Clearance and GMP and meet customer requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across cross-functional teams to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
