Job summary

Collins Aerospace Shannon is seeking an Evening Shift Supervisor to lead a production team in a fast-paced aerospace repair environment. The role focuses on overseeing shop floor activities, scheduling, and cross-functional collaboration to meet delivery targets while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will drive continuous improvement initiatives, monitor performance metrics, and ensure effective communication across shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or related field.
• Experience in supervisory or team leadership role in production, manufacturing, or aerospace repair/maintenance is preferred.
• Familiarity with lean/continuous improvement methodologies is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the evening shift to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, quality standards and safety protocols.
• Monitor production metrics and report on efficiency, productivity and turnaround times.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth handovers and alignment of priorities.
• Drive CORE CI initiatives and lean management practices to improve operations.
• Oversee staffing, training and resource allocation for the evening shift.
