Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, part of Danaher, seeks an Evening Shift Maintenance Technician in County Clare to minimise downtime on production equipment. You will provide engineering support to ensure hourly targets are met and resolve equipment issues with robust root-cause analysis.

Ideal candidates hold a technical degree and have 5–7 years in automated industrial settings, with knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and vision systems.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or diploma is required.
• Experience with automated industrial systems is essential.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and instrumentation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Minimise downtime by fast response and root-cause analysis.
• Provide engineering support to Production to meet hourly targets.
• Perform equipment problem resolution and implement permanent fixes.
• Apply Lean techniques to improve safety, quality, delivery and productivity.
• Maintain shift handovers and accurate records, ensuring EHS compliance.
