Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics in Lismeehan, Co. Clare, Ireland, invites applications for a Technician Production Operations G4. You will join a night-shift production team responsible for running and maintaining automated equipment, ensuring quality and compliance, and packaging kits for distribution.

The role requires Leaving Certificate or equivalent, and knowledge of GMP is a plus. You will train on procedures, perform line clearances, and keep accurate records as part of a global diagnostics

Qualifications

• Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
• Experience in GMP in a highly regulated manufacturing work environment is a plus.
• Ability to operate and maintain production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate automatic or semi-automatic machines and related equipment.
• Maintain equipment in good condition to operate at optimum.
• Follow cleaning procedures for equipment and machinery.
• Fill and label products according to the training plan.
• Pack and label Kits; prepare packing components for Kits.
• Inspect kits/vials as required.
• Complete Line Clearances and co-sign sample labels as required.
• Maintain records, logs and documents in compliance with GMP and quality systems.

The Technician Production Operations G4 position is responsible for setting up and operating automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation and completing Line Clearance requirements.
This position reports to the Supervisor, Production Operations is part of the Production Operations department located just outside Tulla in Lismeehan, O'Callaghan's Mills, Co. Clare and will be based onsite.

Role Specific

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Operate equipment when training has been completed.
• Maintain equipment in a condition necessary to operate at its optimum.
• Comply with cleaning procedure for equipment and machinery.
• Fill and/or label products as per Training plan.
• Pack and label Kits.
• Prepare of packing components for Kits.
• Kit/Vial Inspection as required.

Line Clearance/Documentation

• Issue BHJRs and associated documents where required
• Line Clearances
• Co-sign sample labels where required

General

• Ensure that all Operations are performed to comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and Quality System Regulations.
• Comply and co-operate with any changes to processes, machinery layout, production techniques, new equipment and processes.
• Maintain neat and accurate records, logs and documents as required.
• Understand and follow through on all relevant procedures and ensure compliance.
• Comply with Set Housekeeping rules within the Department.
• Comply with the Dress Code Regulations.
• Comply with all Environmental and Health and Safety regulations.
• Train other Personnel in any aspect of Job Function as required.

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

• Leaving Certificate or equivalent

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Working in a Manufacturing Operations role as part of a team using problem solving tools in a manufacturing work environment
• Knowledge and experience of GMP in a highly regulated manufacturing work environment.

Hours Of Work

This is a Night Shift role, hours of work are:

• Monday to Thursday Midnight to 8am.
• Friday 10pm to 5am Saturday.
