Job summary

ALS Minerals laboratory in Loughrea, Co. Galway, Ireland is seeking General Laboratory Operators for an evening shift with an immediate start. The role involves following safety rules, using protective equipment, and reporting progress to supervision.

There is full or partial secondary education required, with full training provided. A 12-month contract is offered, with a diverse team and opportunities to develop skills in a GMP/ISO environment.

Qualifications

• Full or partial secondary education; ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Previous laboratory experience is desirable, but not required as full training is provided.
• Contract length: 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and wear protective equipment at all times.
• Perform tasks as directed by the Laboratory Manager or supervisor and report completion.
• Follow written methods and oral instructions when written instructions are unavailable.
• Check sample identification and maintain sample integrity to prevent loss or contamination.
• Complete records and forms per ISO 17025 and INAB requirements.
