Job summary

Dawn Meats in Carrolls Cross, Waterford, is seeking a Dispatch Operative to manage orders, unload and load goods, and operate forklift equipment. You will scan inbound and outbound consignments to ensure audit and traceability, in a chilled/ambient production environment.

The role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and flexibility with shifts. Fluency in English and good numeracy are essential, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the overall production and dispatch of customers’ orders.
• Using forklift equipment for picking and packing orders and goods.
• Working in a chilled and ambient environment.
• Working efficiently as part of a team and keeping area tidy.
• Maintaining high levels of Health and Safety standards.
• Achieving targets set by the Shift Manager.
• Being adaptable to shift patterns and performing reasonable requests.
