Job summary

Pettitt is seeking a Chill Assistant to support the Chill Department, ensuring deliveries are received, packed out, and shelves are stocked for the next day. This role suits someone with hands-on retail experience and a passion for maintaining high standards in stock control.

You will be involved in daily operations, stock handling, and ensuring quality and freshness across the department, while contributing to a strong team environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Support the day-to-day operations of the Chill department.


• Record and unpack delivery.


• Ensure shelves and displays are fully stocked, well presented, and rotated correctly.


• Maintain the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene.


• Ensure all products meet quality and freshness standards.


• Give assistance with general shop floor operations as required.

• Previous experience in retail grocery
