Job summary

Apetito is seeking a Coldstore Operative in Ireland to pick and pack frozen orders for dispatch. This part-time role covers 20 hours per week across five in six days, in a -20°C environment with protective clothing provided and breaks to warm up. You will be part of a team under supervision to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.

The position offers €15.50 per hour, with a competitive benefits package and opportunities to develop multiple functions within the coldstore operations.

Reporting to the Driver Supervisor and Senior Freezer Operative, Coldstore Operatives are responsible for picking and packing customers frozen orders ready for dispatch in a timely and accurate manner.

The cold store runs at a chilly -20 degrees centigrade but don’t worry, protective clothing designed to deal with this temperature will be provided along with breaks to warm up and have a hot drink as needed.

You'll need to be a hard worker with good attention to detail to ensure you pick accurately, to meet tight deadlines, and keepthe coldstore clean and tidy for maximum efficiency.
