Job summary

Portwest is seeking a Fleet Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of the company car fleet across the UK and Europe, including lifecycle, servicing and claims. You will work with the Indirect Procurement Lead to ensure governance, reporting and cost control.

Responsibilities include data accuracy, supplier management, and driving efficiency and sustainability across fleet processes and future EV/hybrid initiatives.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing a company car Fleet is essential.
• A recognised Fleet Management qualification is desirable, or willingness to undertake one.
• Strong commercial and analytical skills to evaluate proposals and make recommendations.
• Ability to establish fleet controls, reporting routines and audit trails.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day ownership of Portwest's company car fleet across the UK and Europe, ensuring governance and cost control.
• Maintain Fleet data on vehicles, drivers, lease terms and costs with clear reporting.
• Manage suppliers and service providers to improve service and reduce costs.
