Bord Iascaigh Mhara - Ireland's Seafood Development Agency is seeking an EU MAP Executive to lead coordination of Economic Data Collection Programmes within the Insights and Strategic Services unit, delivering seafood socio-economics research to inform industry needs and policy decisions at Irish and EU levels.

The role is based at BIM headquarters in Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin, with the possibility of a hybrid arrangement from BIM regional offices.

Job description

The EU MAP Executive is a key role in our Insights and Strategic Services unit (ISS) and is responsible for co-ordinating the Economic Data Collection Programmes, giving effect to the provisions of EU Multi-Annual Plan legislation. The role involves delivering planned seafood socio-economics research projects to fulfil industry needs as well as providing advice and reports to inform business and policy decisions in all sectors of the seafood industry and government at Irish and EU level.

While BIM Headquarters is based in Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin, the successful candidate may apply to work under a hybrid arrangement from one of BIM's regional offices.
