EU Conexus Administrator - Grade IV (Confined Competition - Specified Purpose up to 31/10/2028)

Confined Competition:This is a confined competition limited to the Education and Training Candidate Sector Pool i.e., eligible administration & library staff within SETU, Technological Universities, Institutes of Technology and Education & Training Boards at specific grades.

• Contract: Whole-Time, Specified Purpose Contract up to 31/10/2028
• Salary: The gross salary scale applicable to the grade of Assistant Staff Officer is €39,490 - €56,015 p.a on a full-time basis (rates effective 01/06/2026)

The successful candidate will work as part of the EU-CONEXUS team, appropriate to a Grade 4 Assistant Staff Officer role, supporting staff and management to deliver quality services to staff, students, and stakeholders.

The position involves regular contact with students and staff at all levels both at SETU and at our international Alliance university partners where discretion, courtesy and judgement are exercised. The successful candidate will be required to be flexible while undertaking duties while promoting and maintaining best practice, and may be asked to travel between SETU campuses from time to time.

The successful candidate will be required to have strong experience in administration, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a high level of computer literacy, a proven track record of organisational abilities and the ability to work on their own initiative.
