Job summary

Mott MacDonald seeks an Environmental Scientist/Consultant to join the environmental team in Ireland. You will work in a multi-disciplinary setting, supporting delivery of environmental work streams across energy, water and transport sectors.

The role involves coordinating environmental reports, planning and compliance registers, and engaging with authorities to ensure timely delivery of projects. A degree and experience with EIA are essential, with collaborative and technically strong

Qualifications

Degree level or equivalent education in a related field.
Experience delivering EIA and other environmental reports for major projects in Ireland.
Excellent reporting ability with examples available.
Some experience with consenting regimes in Ireland.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and prepare environmental reports to support design, development and consenting.
Prepare and manage planning and environmental compliance registers, action logs, decision registers and monthly reporting.
Support stakeholder engagement activities (internal and external) including engagement with statutory authorities.
Collaborate and coordinate with other teams across Mott MacDonald to deliver projects on time.
Support management of sub-contractors, project management, and preparation of project costings and budgets.
