Job summary

Environmental Consultant role based in County Roscommon, Ireland. The successful candidate will manage environmental projects, prepare technical reports and assessments, and liaise with clients and regulatory bodies across multiple sectors.

This position offers remote, hybrid, or office-based work in County Roscommon, with salary negotiable and additional package. A minimum of 5 years’ experience and a degree in environmental science are required, along with a full driving licence.

Qualifications

• Expertise in EIAs, permitting, EPA licensing, discharge licences, waste permissions, and Article 27/28 applications.
• Strong understanding of EU and Irish environmental legislation.
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in the environmental sector.
• Full driving licence is essential.

We are presently recruiting for an Environmental Consultant for our Conty Roscommon based client. You will manage environmental projects, prepare technical reports and assessments, liaise with clients and regulatory bodies, guide permitting and licensing processes, support business development and ensure compliance with Irish and EU legislation and deliver high-quality environmental solutions across multiple sectors. Remote, hybrid, or office-based in County Roscommon positions are on offer.

About the Role:

• Join a nationwide environmental consulting team working across extractive, waste, domestic, commercial, and industrial sectors.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team while independently managing your own projects.
• Manage projects from initial proposal to final delivery.
• Communicate with clients, regulatory bodies, stakeholders, and sub-contractors.
• Liaise with County Councils, An Bord Pleanála, and statutory agencies.
• Prepare Environmental Impact Assessments and related reports.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.

Skills & Experience and Requirements
