Job summary

Carne Group in Ireland is seeking an entry level Finance (Client Services) associate to support a fast-paced funds operations team. You will assist with VAT3 returns, payroll administration, and regulatory filings while learning core processes for a diverse client portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services is advantageous but not essential.
• Excellent administrative, numerical, analytical and IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Irish funds industry and regulatory frameworks is desirable.
• Experience with VAT, payroll, FATCA/CRS, or fee processing would be beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and review of VAT3 returns for Irish regulated funds, ensuring compliance with Irish VAT legislation.
• Administer payroll services for clients of Carne Group, including setup and ongoing administration and payments.
• Preparation and submission of FATCA and CRS filings, ensuring adherence to reporting requirements.
• Calculation and processing of trailer fees and management fees with accuracy and timeliness.
• Liaising with internal teams and external advisors on regulatory and operational matters.
• Ensuring all deadlines are met and maintaining high standards of documentation and reporting.
• Assistance to other key functions within the finance team, including supporting the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions for Carne Group.
