Job summary

Carne Group in Kilkenny is seeking an ambitious graduate to join the Investor and Regulatory Data team. You will help deliver regulatory reports and data-driven insights, learn change management, and work on AI-enabled process improvements in a fast-moving financial services environment.

Based in the Carne Kilkenny office, you will collaborate with stakeholders, support data requests, and develop core competencies in regulatory reporting and data analytics.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Business, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Interested in ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CFA/CAIA qualifications.
  • Exposure to data analysis tools such as Power BI.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the end-to-end production and delivery of regulatory reports and factsheets for clients.
  • Apply mathematical and analytical skills to interpret methodologies and validate calculations.
  • Leverage AI-driven analytics and automation to strengthen controls and reduce lead times.
  • Attend client and internal meetings to manage change requests and BAU activities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to manage data requests and client change end-to-end.
  • Assist in providing data to internal and external parties and monitor SLAs.
  • Review processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual dependencies.
  • Maintain schedules to track reporting deliverables and client requests.
  • Draft and update procedures timely, documenting changes and testing accuracy.
  • Support Client Reporting management in setting goals and delivering tactical solutions.
  • Assist in training team members to develop competencies for delivering reports.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking to hire an ambitious Business, Finance or Mathematics graduate who will be part of an evolving Investor and Regulatory Data team in Kilkenny, responsible for the delivery of client regulatory and industry best practice reports while gaining exposure to a dynamic and fast-changing financial services environment. A successful candidate will be involved in change management, issue resolution, enhancing processes through AI, and key projects, having the opportunity to gain a broad knowledge base and develop key competencies. The candidate will be based in the Carne Kilkenny office.

What is your role and your responsibilities?
  • Execute the end-to-end production and delivery of periodic regulatory reports and factsheets for our clients, ensuring they are delivered accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Apply mathematical and analytical skills to interpret methodologies, validate calculations, and support sign-off processes.
  • Leverage AI-driven analytics and automation to strengthen control mechanisms and optimize lead times for improved operational efficiency.
  • Attend client and internal meetings to understand new and/or change management requests, managing relevant activities to ensure requirements are incorporated into BAU.
  • Actively work with key stakeholders to manage routine and/or complex ad-hoc queries, data requests and client change, through to completion in line with client expectations.
  • Assist in the provision of data to internal and external parties as well as managing supplier relationships including SLA/service monitoring.
  • Consistently review end-to-end processes to ensure they are efficient, reduce manual dependencies and mitigate risk.
  • Maintain accurate and timely centrally team schedules to track scheduled and ad-hoc reporting deliverables and client requests.
  • Responsible for drafting and updating procedures on a timely basis, ensuring new tasks and changes to processes are consistently documented and appropriately tested within the team to ensure accuracy, quality and timeliness of report production and delivery to clients and/or 3rd parties.
  • Actively support Client Reporting management in setting strategic goals and deliver key tactical solutions.
  • Assist in training of team members to develop key competencies and gain the necessary experience to competently deliver reporting deliverables.
