Job summary

Mercury is seeking an experienced Enterprise Risk Manager to lead risk management activities across the business from our Dublin head office, moving to Ballycoolin in Feb 2026. The role requires identifying key strategic and operational risks, developing a robust risk framework and promoting a risk-aware culture while engaging with management at all levels and traveling to on-site locations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Enterprise Risk Manager or in a similar role.
• Proficient in risk management practices and processes.
• Strong analytical skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Negotiating and influencing skills.
• Commercial mindset with ability to work across levels of risk management.
• Good team player with stakeholder management capabilities.
• Qualifications in business, finance or risk management.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess and manage key risks affecting Mercury’s objectives.
• Design and manage a risk management framework responsive to emerging risks.
• Develop and implement risk policies, procedures and ways of working.
• Promote risk culture and awareness across the organisation.
• Integrate risk thinking into decision making at all levels.
• Maintain integrated risk management across the business.
• Deliver risk training workshops and communications.
• Monitor and report risk to Management, Leadership and the Board.
