Job summary

ESB is seeking a Solution Architect to work across IT and OT, shaping solutions to meet business needs while aligning with the architecture roadmap. You will contribute to agile and waterfall projects, ensuring solution integrity and governance across ESB and its units.

Based in ESB's Head Office in Dublin, the role supports Smart Working with at least two days in the office and hybrid arrangements. The position offers opportunities to collaborate with cloud, security and domain teams and

Qualifications

Third-level qualification in Information Technology or related discipline or equivalent experience.
Minimum seven years' experience in solution/enterprise/infrastructure architecture roles.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across technical and business audiences.
Proven ability to lead through change and transform initiatives.
Deep understanding of utility industry systems, applications and integration architectures.
Knowledge of cloud, cyber security and infrastructure architecture principles.

Responsibilities

Review business cases and governance submissions to align with ESB architecture principles.
Lead the development and delivery of high-level IT and OT architecture.
Ensure cyber security controls across IT/OT environments.
Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, security and domain architects for scalable solutions.
Balance priorities and stakeholder demands to optimise value for ESB.
Maintain end-to-end solution integrity across design, delivery and change.
