Job summary

Veolia Ireland seeks a Project Manager (Engineering) for the Lough Mask WTP, Co. Mayo, on a permanent, on-site basis. The role focuses on ECI (PCI/PDI) design coordination for Water and Wastewater projects across Ireland.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years post-qualification experience in M&E or Civil projects, an engineering degree, and strong IT skills including MS Project. Regular collaboration with clients and senior management is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years relevant post qualification experience in the execution of M&E or Civil engineering projects.
• Diploma/Degree/Masters in Engineering or equivalent experience (Mechanical, Civil, Process, Chemical, etc)
• Strong IT skills including MS Project.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Self motivated and proactive.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure thorough knowledge and understanding of the contract for all assigned projects.
• Coordination of Design activities/outputs on a variety of projects across Water or Wastewater PCI and PDI.
• Act as the main point of contact for dealing with any issues relating to your project portfolio.
• Work collaboratively within the ECI structure with the client, technical assurance, employers representative and operations to deliver project scope.
• Linking with senior management to provide timely updates on the progress of design outputs/deliverables relating to each project to assess impact on workshop dates, procurement, cost, forecast and variations.
• Identify risks to Design activities/outputs and provide notification to the client for early warnings, claims and cost variances.
