Job summary

Veolia Ireland is seeking a Project Manager (Engineering) to lead design coordination on water and wastewater projects across the island of Ireland. Based at Lough Mask WTP, Mayo, the role is a permanent position within the ECI team, overseeing PCI and PDI stages to deliver scope on time and within budget.

The successful candidate will bring 5+ years in M&E or Civil projects, a relevant engineering degree, and strong MS Project, organisational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years post-qualification experience in the execution of M&E or Civil engineering projects.
• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Proficiency in MS Project and project coordination tools.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills across teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure thorough knowledge and understanding of the contract for all assigned projects.
• Coordinate design activities/outputs across Water or Wastewater PCI and PDI.
• Act as main point of contact for issues related to the project portfolio.
• Collaborate within the ECI structure with client, assurance, employers representative and operations to deliver scope.
• Provide timely updates on design outputs, procurement, cost, and variations to senior management.
• Monitor and control project progress and adherence to the programme.
• Manage procurement sheets and risk notifications to clients.
• Identify opportunities for design improvements and efficiencies within the team.
