Description

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager (EPM) to deliver complex engineering projects from initiation to completion, on time and within budget. Your projects will touch every layer of Apple's retail technology worldwide - from the Apple Online Store, the Apple Store app, and point-of-sale systems to the cross-functional platforms and integrations that power them. You'll orchestrate collaboration across engineering, business, and partner teams, bringing the technical acumen and communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders. What sets this role apart is the pace and variety: you'll lead projects that range from planned platform initiatives to time-sensitive regulatory deliveries, each with its own teams and technical landscape. Minimum Qualifications

• Relevant experience planning, managing, and successfully delivering cross-functional engineering projects across all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Demonstrated experience delivering under tight deadlines with proven ability to take ownership independently and drive to completion with minimal direction.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies, system architecture, and integration patterns.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on engineering experience or sufficient technical depth to actively shape architectural and technical decisions, including in situations that lack clear definition or immediate scope.
• Experience in a large-scale enterprise technology environment supporting retail or e-commerce, with working familiarity across e-commerce platforms, payment systems, POS systems, or consumer-facing retail applications.
• Proven ability to drive delivery and resolve dependencies across globally distributed teams and stakeholders, with a PM certification (e.g., PMP, Agile/Scrum, or hybrid Agile-Waterfall) reflecting flexible methodology, and experience using Generative AI/LLM tools for documentation, reporting, and data synthesis.
