Morgan McKinley in Drogheda is seeking an Engineering Project Coordinator on a maternity cover contract. You will support a capital investment programme, maintain reporting, budgets and schedules, and coordinate stakeholders across Engineering, Operations and Finance.
This is not a PM role; you will provide governance, tracking and documentation to keep multiple projects moving forward and ensure actions are completed on time.
Location: Drogheda, Co. Louth
Working Model: Onsite
Contract: Fixed-term maternity cover (12 months)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Project Coordinator to join the Engineering team of a leading manufacturing organisation in Drogheda on a maternity cover contract.
This is a high-visibility role supporting a significant Engineering capital investment programme, with approximately 10 active capital projects running across the site.
The role is ideal for an organised and commercially aware project support professional who enjoys bringing structure to multiple projects, maintaining accurate reporting and financial information, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring actions are followed through.
This is not a Project Manager position. Larger and more complex CAPEX delivery will remain with the Engineering Manager and Contract Project Manager. Instead, you will provide the coordination, governance, reporting and financial tracking that keeps the Engineering project portfolio organised and moving forward.
You will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in project coordination, project administration, engineering administration, manufacturing support or a similar technical environment.
Experience with SAP, ERP, CMMS, project management or purchasing systems would also be advantageous.
A qualification in Engineering, Business, Project Management or a related discipline would be beneficial but is not essential.
You’ll work closely with the VP Engineering, Engineering team, Contract Project Manager and a broad range of stakeholders across the manufacturing operation.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants exposure to a significant capital investment programme and the opportunity to work across Engineering, Operations, Finance, Procurement, Quality and Supply Chain.
The successful candidate will play an important role in providing the structure, visibility and governance required to keep multiple engineering projects on track.
