Job summary

Apple's Strategic Data Solutions (SDS) team seeks a hands-on Software Engineering Manager to deliver analytic solutions with an enhanced user experience. The role focuses on Enterprise Decision Automation, protecting Apple and customers from fraud, waste, and abuse.

Qualifications

3+ years leading software engineers or tech leads
Hands-on production software in Python/Java
Experience owning end-to-end delivery
Experience working with non-engineering partners to gather priorities
Experience with teams across multiple locations/time zones

Responsibilities

Directly manage, coach and grow Cork-based engineering team
Contribute to functional/technical roadmap with regional counterparts
Collaborate with fraud investigators, analysts, PMs and business partners to deliver outcomes
Ensure reliable, scalable production software and automation
Own delivery end-to-end from planning to deployment and monitoring
Coordinate across time zones to keep distributed org aligned
Align with broader SWE organization on technical patterns and craft
