Job summary

Bentley Systems International Limited is seeking a Manager, Software Development, to lead and develop teams within Facilities Engineering. The role focuses on people leadership, talent growth, and cross-functional partnerships with Product Managers and senior engineers.

You will drive modernization by introducing AI-assisted workflows and developer-assistant tooling to maximize throughput. You will partner with Technical Leads, Product Managers, and peers to create clarity and alignment, while

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in an engineering leadership role.
• Experience designing team-wide AI-agent workflows and guardrails to maximize output while maintaining quality and security.
• High emotional intelligence with a transparent, collaborative leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop teams with a focus on accountability and high performance.
• Align teams around business priorities and ensure clarity and focus for delivery.
• Define and execute AI-assisted engineering strategies across the department.
• Support hiring, workforce planning, retention, and team health.
