Job summary

H&MV Engineering invites a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead end-to-end recruitment for engineering and construction roles across international projects. You will partner with hiring managers and source candidates through job boards, social media, events, and direct outreach.

Role emphasizes building a strong candidate pipeline, managing agency relations, and guiding interview and offer processes with occasional travel, supporting growth at multiple sites in Ireland and beyond.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably within the engineering and construction sectors.
• Experience working in international markets, particularly in the engineering and construction industries.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
• Proficient in using applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to support recruitment assignments in other business interests.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end recruitment processes for engineering and construction roles.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Utilize sourcing channels including job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and industry events.
• Stay updated on recruitment trends and sourcing methodologies to ensure best practices.
• Conduct thorough candidate assessments, including technical evaluations, to ensure a strong fit for positions.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for present and future hiring needs.
• Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors, ensuring effective collaboration.
• Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, including interview training, candidate evaluation, and offer negotiations.
• Participate in recruitment-related projects and initiatives to enhance the function.
• Maintain accurate documentation of recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system.
