Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering is seeking a highly organised Business Change Lead to drive strategic change initiatives across our engineering teams. You will coordinate between business change programs and operations to ensure adoption of new processes, systems and ways of working.

The role emphasizes developing and applying structured change management methodologies, coaching sponsors and delivering effective communications.

Qualifications

• Essential: recognised third level qualification; master’s degree preferred.
• Desirable: qualification in organisational behaviour, change management or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant change management experience.
• Strong understanding and practical application of structured change management methodologies.
• Experience in stakeholder, impact and readiness assessment and in developing communications, engagement, training and resistance management plans.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, facilitation and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify affected stakeholder groups, required behaviour changes and adoption risks.
• Identify sponsors, business owners, change champions and key stakeholders and clarify their responsibilities for successful implementation.
• Develop and maintain Kirby’s practical change management framework, using structured methodologies such as ADKAR where appropriate.
• Develop change strategies covering sponsorship, stakeholder engagement, communications, training, resistance management and reinforcement.
• Develop and manage a coordinated communications calendar for initiatives that affect Operations and project teams.
• Enable the design, development and delivery of clear, audience-specific communications explaining the business need and required actions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Project Management, HR, Learning and Development, Communications and Digital/IT to align change activities.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels to secure support and buy-in.
• Carry out training needs analysis and define learning requirements supporting training and guidance.
