Job summary

Ashgrove Renewables is seeking a General Operative to join our expanding team. You will perform snagging, finishing and minor repairs on domestic energy-upgrade projects across Munster, ensuring quality and adherence to Building regulations and SEAI requirements.

The role requires strong attention to detail, hands-on carpentry/plastering experience, and a proactive communicator who can work independently and manage workload efficiently.

Qualifications

• Min. 2 years experience in a construction trade.
• Clear understanding of SEAI energy upgrade works (walls/attics/insulation, heat pumps, solar PV, windows/doors, MV) is beneficial.
• Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling.
• Confident problem solver with a hands-on approach.
• Flexibility to learn new skills or obtain industry certificates.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site service including snagging, minor carpentry and plastering.
• Operate hand tools and basic machinery safely.
• Communicate with project managers, QA and internal teams.
• Monitor and report issues with equipment or site conditions.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and professionalism on site.
• Log and file job updates in CRM.
• Assist with additional duties as requested by management.
