Job summary

CGN Europe Energy in Ireland seeks a finance professional to support monthly management accounts, consolidation, and audit processes. You will help ensure accurate reporting and statutory compliance for the group.

The role involves cash planning with treasury, UK tax return preparation, and coordinating procurement while supporting a range of consolidation projects. ACA/ACCA and energy sector experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business; ACA/ACCA or equivalent preferred.
• 4 years’ experience with commercial exposure, energy sector preferred.
• Professional English working proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the Jiuqi consolidation package and schedules for annual statutory audit.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and respond to internal/external requests.
• Support cash planning, funding arrangements and treasury coordination.
• Prepare regular tax returns and payments for UK entities; monitor tax risks.
• Ensure procurement requests follow internal procedures and approvals.
• Assist with ad hoc consolidation improvements and audit preparation.
