Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd in Dublin is seeking an experienced Endoscopy Nurse to provide professional nursing care in the Endoscopy unit. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients, ensuring safety and high standards of practice.

Key responsibilities include medication administration, documentation, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver patient-centred care.

Qualifications

• NMBI Registered General Nurse licence
• Minimum of 1-year post registration experience in an acute setting
• Knowledge of GI and respiratory diseases, diagnosis, treatment and health education
• Understanding of JAG accreditation and quality improvement
• Up-to-date certificates in BLS and ACLS

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care to assigned patients in the Endoscopy unit.
• Administers medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Participates in decontamination, traceability and maintenance of endoscopes and equipment.
• Contributes to Total Quality Management and adherence to hospital policies.
