Job summary

Bon Secours Health System Galway is seeking two Staff Nurses (Endoscopy) on a permanent basis, 37.5 hours per week. You will provide high standard nursing care across endoscopy procedures, adhering to policies and standards set by the unit.

Ideal candidates will be registered with NMBI, hold an RGN qualification, and demonstrate strong communication, teamwork and flexibility to rotate between days and shifts.

Qualifications

• Registered, or eligible for registration, with NMBI as General Nurse.
• Post-registration nursing experience preferred in surgical areas.

Responsibilities

• Carries out nursing care to the highest standard according to policies.
• Participates in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care using the nursing process.
• Administers medicines, IV drugs, blood products and controlled drugs per policy.
• Adheres to infection control guidelines and manages medical waste.
