Job summary

Bon Secours Hospital Tralee is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager II for the Endoscopy Department on a part-time basis (24 hours). The role focuses on quality assurance, clinical leadership, and efficient resource management to maintain high practice standards.

The CNM2 will lead staffing, support staff development, and promote practice development initiatives while ensuring safety and evidence-based patient care. Applicants should have 5 years post-registration experience and NMBI registration.

Qualifications

• 5 years post registration experience.
• Registered nurse on the active Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
• Annual NMBI registration confirmed.
• Proven clinical, auditing and managerial experience.
• Management experience and qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care to ensure the highest professional standards using an evidence-based approach.
• Provide a high level of professional and clinical leadership.
• Quality assurance within the designated area and efficient allocation of resources.
• Manage staffing levels, foster staff development and promote practice development initiatives.
